Help: Figure RoH Check

The figure RoH Check is a structured on-ice feel assessment for deciding whether the current radius of hollow feels too deep, too shallow, or about right.

Use it for

  • checking hollow feel through familiar figure-skating movements
  • recording current hollow, confidence, blade feel, and notes
  • saving a direction-of-change result without prescribing a specific hollow number

Use only safe movements

  • skip tests that are not already familiar and controlled
  • avoid changing hollow based on a new or unreliable movement
  • record unusual ice, fatigue, new boots, or one-foot differences in the notes
